About Me

My name is Julia and I’m a Melbourne based Artist, predominantly working as a painter. I love all things bold, bright, fun and nostalgic!

After a busy working life in television into my early 30s, it was taking time off with my first baby back in 2012, and all the hours spent at home that prompted me to pick up my paintbrushes again. My life has since happily taken a creative path, and Summer Svenson has become an evolving passion project (alongside raising two young kids).

I am currently painting pots, vases, plates, canvas.. and love a collab!

When not painting, I spend time hanging out with my husband, two kids, and our dog, Ziggy Stardust.
